Kali vs Raktabeej: official trailer, animated devotional film

A book trailer, at its best

The 10 Rules That Made Zubeen Garg Unstoppable: the animated companion film for the book

The animated companion film for The Unfiltered Universe of Zubeen Garg: the book’s ten principles carried into seven minutes of animation, with Assamese and English narration tracks.

It works as a book trailer should: it gives a reader the world and the voice of the book, then sends them to it.

What we make

Trailer, teaser and promo services

A trailer is a promise of the experience inside: a film, a series, a book, a song or a brand. Animated, live action or both, these are the ones we make.

Film trailers

Official trailers for feature films, cut from your footage or built with animation and effects.

Teasers and first looks

Short teasers, motion posters and first looks that build anticipation before release.

Short film and series promos

Trailers and episode promos for short films and web series, in every platform length.

Book trailers and companion films

Animated book trailers and longer companion films that bring a book’s world to readers.

Music video teasers

Song teasers and launch promos cut from the music video or made to stand alone.

Brand, corporate and event promos

Promo videos for launches, campaigns, organisations and events.

What makes a good trailer

A good trailer does not retell the story. It sets the mood, shows the world, introduces one character and ends on a question that only the film, the book or the product can answer. Thirty to sixty seconds is enough for social media; up to two and a half minutes works for an official film trailer.

Every trailer here is cut, scored and finished by a director who has made the films himself: live-action footage, animation and visual effects can be combined in one trailer, matched to your poster or cover.

How we work

A director cuts your trailer

A good trailer starts with someone who understands the story. The director of this studio is a screenwriter and filmmaker first, and finds the single image and line that make an audience curious.

The same studio writes, edits, animates, composes the music and mixes the sound.

How it runs

How a trailer is made

  • Watch or read: your film, footage, book or brief.
  • Script and structure: the hook, the mood and the order of shots.
  • Cut or animate: edited from your footage, animated, or both, with titles and effects.
  • Music and sound: scored and mixed for impact.
  • Delivery: landscape, vertical and teaser cut-downs for every platform.

Questions

Questions about trailers and teasers

What is the difference between a trailer and a teaser?

A teaser is short, often under a minute, and shows only the mood or one striking moment. A trailer is longer and lays out the world, the characters and the conflict, without giving away the ending.

How long should a trailer be?

A teaser runs fifteen to sixty seconds. An official film trailer usually runs ninety seconds to two and a half minutes. Social cut-downs are fifteen to thirty seconds.

Can you cut a trailer from footage we have already shot?

Yes. Send the edit or the rushes and we cut, score and finish the trailer, adding titles, effects or animation where they help.

What is a book trailer?

A short video that promotes a book the way a film trailer promotes a film: it sets the mood, introduces the world and ends on a hook that sends readers to the book.

Do you work with independent filmmakers and self-published authors?

Yes, as well as studios, publishers and brands. Tell us your release date and we plan to it.
