Script doctoring

What script writing services include
Script writing services cover more than dialogue. A shootable script sets the structure, the scenes, the locations and the budget shape of a film. Storyboards then turn that script into shots, so everyone on the production sees the same film before the camera rolls.
Scripts here are written for features, series, commercials, brand films and explainers, by a Screenwriters Association member who has also directed eight features. Ownership is set out in writing and passes to you on full payment.
On the record
Writing on the record
- Screenwriters Association member, with screenplays registered
- Storyboards and character design concepts for Disney India’s Zokkomon
- Eight feature films directed, from 2008 to 2025
- Trained as an architect, so space and staging are planned precisely
Why one director
Written by someone who directs
A script written by a director is a script that can be shot. Every scene is written with the camera, the budget and the schedule in mind.
Storyboards are drawn by the same hand, so what you approve on paper is what the camera will see.
How it runs
How a script or storyboard is made
- Brief: the story, the audience and the format.
- Outline: the structure, agreed before drafting.
- Draft: the script or storyboard, with one consolidated round of notes.
- Revision: the agreed changes, then a final version.
- Delivery: formatted files, ready for production or registration.
Every stage has a named review gate. See the full process.
Questions
Questions about scripts and storyboards
Do you write scripts for brand and corporate videos?
Yes. We write video scripts for brand films, explainers, commercials and training videos, as well as features and series.
Can you storyboard a script someone else wrote?
Yes. We storyboard your script shot by shot, for live action or animation.
Who owns the script?
Ownership is set out in writing before work starts and passes to you on full payment, unless we agree a co-writing arrangement.
How much does script writing cost?
It depends on the length and format, and how much research it needs. You receive clear options with a written quote.
How long does it take to write a script?
A short video script can be ready in days; a feature screenplay takes months of drafts. The schedule is agreed in writing at the start, with fixed points for your notes.
Can you storyboard a script we already have?
Yes. Storyboards can be drawn from your script for a shoot, an animation or a pitch, shot by shot, with framing, camera movement and timing noted, so everyone on the production sees the same film before it is made.
